Περίληψη

It is well known that there is no comprehensive proposal for the description of morphological adaptation of adjectives cross-linguistically. The most complete description is the one suggested by Tzitzilis (Introduction) who, relying to some extent on the typology of morphological adaptation of loan verbs (Wohlgemuth 2009) describes the strategies of adjectival adaptation. When examining the morphological adaptation of adjectival borrowings it is not enough to refer to their assignment to a certain inflection class but it is necessary to consider their assignment to a specific “morphological bundle” of adjectives.
