Abstract

The study investigated education policy and leadership in post Covid world in Nigerian Secondary Schools. It adopted a survey research design. A total of three hundred and sixty (360) teachers and ten (10) education planning officers served as the sample size. The instrument for data collection was a self-developed questionnaire. The study showed that: COVID-19 pandemic disrupted the education system in Nigerian secondary schools; academic leaders should distribute leadership responsibilities; government could mitigate the negative impacts of COVID-19 on education by adopting E-learning strategies. The study recommends the provision of free and open source technologies for teachers and students.
